MAC seeks a new chair for the Marketing & Communications Committee. 

The Marketing Committee assists in the development and execution of recommendations on concepts, plans, strategies, programs and campaigns that support, facilitate, and otherwise achieve MAC’s strategic goals. The committee ensures all communications, advertising and other media accurately and consistently portray and communicate MAC’s mission and brand. The Marketing Committee works with most other MAC committees in an advisory or support capacity.

The Marketing Committee works with staff and other committees to develop effective marketing and communication tools and resources, and to evaluate the effectiveness of those tools and resources. The Committee serves as a creative resource group and supports the preparation and dissemination of marketing collateral and public relations messaging. The Committee also evaluates ways in which the website can be made more useful and user friendly for members, volunteers, and other constituencies.

The Committee may create subcommittees as needed, such as to support specific marketing channels like the website or social media.
