Association of Payment Professionals Announces Board Transitions
Association of Payment Professionals Announces Board Transitions
As the fiscal year draws to a close for the Association of Payment Professionals (APP), it is a time of heartfelt thanks and fresh beginnings within our Board of Directors. This annual transitional period welcomes new faces to the leadership team while honoring the significant contributions of departing Board members whose terms are ending.
Gratitude for Dedicated Service
Our community owes a tremendous debt of gratitude to Gerald Lannan (Fortis) and Liz Pike (Green Rhino Recruitment), whose terms on the Board are concluding at the end of May. Their dedication and leadership have been instrumental in steering our organization towards its goals. Both have left an indelible mark on our Board, and while their presence will be missed in board meetings, their involvement will continue, enriching our community through various volunteer roles.
We must also extend our thanks to Stephen Prince (Villa Payments Consulting), whose term as Immediate Past President ends this month as well. Stephen’s leadership tenure has been marked by invaluable guidance and strategic foresight, and we are fortunate that he will continue to serve APP via other volunteer avenues.
Welcoming New and Returning Leaders
June 1st marks a significant date as we welcome both new and returning members to the APP Board of Directors:

Newcomers Erin, Lance, and Julie are poised to inject new ideas and energy into the Board after providing vital contributions to committees.
In another significant leadership transition, Aliki Liadis-Hall will formally step into the role of President-Elect on June 1, 2024, preparing to assume the presidency the following year. And, Kevin Lambrix will be beginning his second term as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the same time. Their anticipated leadership is expected to drive continued growth and innovation at APP.
