Volunteer at MAC and you can earn CPP credits. Contact us to find a volunteer role that fits your career goals, skills, and interests. You may even be able to earn 3 CPP credits for belonging to one of MAC’s committees.
Currently, MAC is looking for individuals who want to join our Education, Communications, or DEI committees. Each present unique opportunities no matter your personal and professional goals.
Education - Currently, we seek SMEs and other volunteers to work with us as we continue to develop career pathways, model the future curriculum, and produce the first courses. We will be starting with “101”-level content focused on our educational niche, and we will move toward more advanced content to support our members across their career. M@Cademy will complement our other educational offerings that are currently in place and planned for the future. This committee is eligible to earn volunteers three credits per year.

Conference Program - Currently, we seek payment professionals to help plan the next conference agenda and pick topics and speakers. Ideal volunteers are ones who know what a MAC member wants to see at the events and can engage with others to determine the agenda. This is a great opportunity for newer industry professionals to make new connections and experienced SMEs the ability to share their knowledge. This committee is eligible to earn volunteers three credits per year.

DEI - Are you interested in helping define the future of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) at MAC? We are looking for volunteers as we move our DEI efforts to their next phase. If you are interested, read on to learn more about how you can make a difference! Volunteers on the DEI subcommittee will have the opportunity to shape the future face of MAC leadership and programs. We plan for this new group to evolve into a strategic interest group (SIG) on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion open to any member interested in promoting these issues within MAC and the broader payment risk and compliance community. With support from volunteers and sponsoring organizations, we intend to launch new mentoring, leadership development, and other educational opportunities under this umbrella. We are also developing new partnerships with like-minded organizations to support this effort. The only thing we are missing is YOU!
